We're featuring poetry in all forms for two weeks on Cheek Teeth, and hope that you enjoy the dialogue. Jen Sperry Steinorth's poem published last Wednesday, Michelle Bitting's newest poem film is proudly debuted here, and next week Contributing Editor Cam Scott takes us on yet another poetic ride with his monthly column.
More of Michelle's poem films, which Robert Olen Butler describes as "Stunningly lovely... like an exquisite new art form," can be viewed here. Her guest post on courting the muse for these films was published on Cheek Teeth this fall.
Michelle Bitting teaches in the U.C.L.A. Extension Writer’s Program at Twin Towers prison and is a California Poet in the Schools. Her work appears in The American Poetry Review, Prairie Schooner, Narrative and elsewhere. Thomas Lux chose her book Good Friday Kiss for C & R’s DeNovo First Book Prize. She holds an MFA from Pacific University.
