On the heels of publishing Issue 4 of our print magazine, we're already gearing up for what's next. As most Cheek Teeth readers know, we publish flash fiction the first week of every month. Featuring new work from established authors such as Tom Hazuka and Bruce Holland Rogers, we also take great pride in bringing new or up-and-coming authors (like Jim Shelly, whose story also includes video animation) into the public domain. Publication on Cheek Teeth means your story is archived online forever and will also appear at the end of 2012 in our first printed anthology, Bite: An Anthology of Cheek Teeth Flash Fiction.
The best way to get a feel for the stories we publish is to follow the links above (or read more stories using the Flash Fiction label on the left sidebar). For the nitty gritty, check out this interview with Managing Editor Katey Schultz, including pet peeves and hot tips to help assure your submission is ready and right for us.
All set? Use our free online submission manager to send us your work, with a response guaranteed in 4-5 weeks!
