All other content is by invitation only. Guest bloggers for Cheek Teeth should use the following guidelines:
Features: Feature articles (300-1000 words) about lit, art, and artisan culture. These include but are not limited to reportage or first person accounts of literary or art events (readings, conferences, openings, seminars); interviews, excerpts, summaries, or bios related to TRACHODON contributors; or images, bio, and hyperlinks to an artist’s work that is particularly compelling. Quirkiness, contemporary tone, and sense of humor are a plus.
Reviews: Reviews (200-600 words) of literary works or nonfiction publications pertinent to art and artisan culture. Should be written in a casual, yet informative tone.
Touché: Touché posts (1-5 sentences) are about informing and connecting. They should be cutting edge and are used to direct Cheek Teeth readers to another site that’s doing something especially pertinent to lit, art, or artisan culture. Writing should be enthusiastic and include a specific summary of a website, blog post, article, project, discussion, or other online listing, followed by a link.
Fossils: At the discretion of TRACHODON editors, excerpts and reprints from back issues of the print magazine may appear online.
